iPhone simulator extension
iPhone simulator in your browser
Preview any website at iPhone screen sizes without leaving Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge. MobileReady wraps your current tab in a realistic iPhone frame at the right viewport width — on Windows, macOS or Linux.
Safari support is coming soon.
Install in under a minute
- Add MobileReady from the Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons or Microsoft Edge Add-ons.
- Open the page you want to check — a live site or
localhost. - Click the MobileReady icon and choose an iPhone preset.
- Scroll, click and resize to see how the layout behaves at that width.
What viewport simulation does
The extension sets the page's viewport to the CSS width and height of the chosen iPhone and draws a device frame around it, so media queries, text wrapping and layout respond as they would at that size. Switch between models to compare narrow and wide phones.
Common iPhone viewport sizes
- iPhone SE — 375×667
- iPhone 13 / 14 — 390×844
- iPhone 15 / 15 Pro — 393×852
- iPhone 14 Pro Max — 430×932
Free vs paid
The Free plan includes 15 device presets. Paid plans include all 91 device presets plus tools such as HD screenshots and inspection features. You upgrade inside the extension — no website account. See pricing.
Limitations
- It does not run iOS or iOS apps. It is a website preview tool, not an iPhone emulator in the virtual-machine sense.
- It does not emulate Safari or WebKit. Pages render with Chrome, Firefox or Edge's own engine.
- Safari-only behavior (address-bar resizing,
100vhquirks, Apple Pay, touch feel) needs a real iPhone or Safari.
Viewport simulation does not replace final testing on physical devices or in Safari/WebKit.
Questions
Is this an iPhone emulator that runs iOS?
No. MobileReady is a browser extension that simulates iPhone viewport sizes around your web page. It does not run iOS, iOS apps or Safari.
Does it emulate Safari or WebKit?
No. Pages render with the engine of the browser you installed it in (Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge). Check Safari-specific behavior on a real iPhone or in Safari.
Can I use it online without installing anything?
There is a short live preview on our homepage, but the simulator itself is a browser extension that you install from your browser's store.
How do I simulate an iPhone 13?
iPhone 13 uses a 390×844 CSS viewport. Open the device list in the extension and pick a preset with that size; the exact preset names available depend on your plan.
Is it free?
Yes. The Free plan includes 15 device presets. Paid plans unlock all 91 presets and extra tools, purchased inside the extension.
